What talents could we use for a toddler in a beauty pageant?

We are entering a five year old in a beauty pageant and are wondering what type of talents could be used in the talent portion. She is a great singer and can catch easily onto most other things. Thanks for your help!|||If she enjoys pageants than I think that would be fun for her!

make sure that she likes the talent you choose, I have seen so many pageants where the kids hate the talent they choose and they don't try or put any effort into it. The kids that actually like what there talent is try very hard and do well..

maybe try singing a song, dancing to a song ( a really good song for pageants is proud mary ) and maybe she could do some gymnastics like summer salts or cart wheels?

good luck!|||NONE! Toddlers shouldn't be traumatized by this kind of stage-mom exposure. Don't fall into the beauty pageant trap! Let your kid grow up normal!|||Ask her what she wants to do, sing her favorite song, recite a poem, etc. She will know what she's best at.|||this. is. sad. :-(|||Drooling or screaming.|||thast really mean to do to a little kid|||Why? Did your childhood dreams of being a pageant winner not come true? You are sick.

In your own words define beauty and ugliness ? How ugly and beautiful are you?

Here is my answer.

Beauty is being wise at everything you do.

beauty is spreading goodness everywhere you go.

Beauty is being open-minded, loving nature, having good manners.

Beauty is being selfless.

Beauty is loving without expecting love in return

Beauty is respecting all living things.

Beauty is having self-esteem.

Beauty is going through life and seeing beauty in everyone else .

My definition of ugliness is the opposite of my definition of beauty.

i am beautiful in that i am kind to everyone else, i have self-esteem, i am open-minded . i am ugly in that i am lazy, I am quite unorganized, I can be critical of others.

your turn ! Thank you|||Chantelle is what I'd call

a girl brainwashed by Paris Hilton lmao***

OK serious now.. Beauty is.. attraction, positive personality, and intelligence

Ugliness well ugliness is ... the total opposite of Beauty I guess|||Physical beauty is having clear smooth-looking skin and symmetrical facial features. Physical ugliness is the opposite and that is why I consider myself ugly. Have a peek: http://www.flickr.com/photos/13668791@N0鈥?/a>|||Beauty is what attracts me.

Ugliness is what repels me.|||to me beauty is..

long blonde hair

tanned skin

pretty face

skinny- not too skinny..like UK size 6 or 8 in clothes

rich

confident

Fashionable

to me ugliness is

GEEKY

What makes beauty spots appear on our skin?

What allows or makes beauty spots appear on our skin? Also, why do they disappear sometimes? Is it a chemical process, if so what is it and how does it work?|||Basically, it's where melanin (the stuff that colors your skin) packs up into one small spot. When moles disappear, that's the melanin spreading back out.

What field of science or technology does medicines and beauty products belong to ?

please help me. im so confused. i dont know where beauty products and medicines belong to what field. Your answers will be very helpful!|||Beauty products are close to regular chemistry and clinical research. I guess you are talking actually designing them and making formulas.

They are really two separate fields though.

Cosmetics are mainly just that, just for the surface and top layer of skin, whereas medicine affects the entire thickness of the skin or the entire body.

If I had to narrow them down I would say Dermatology and Pharmacy. They are very close, good question.|||Actually, they both fall scientifically in the field of Pharmaceuticals. or the understanding of that field which is Pharmacology.

What do you think the stereotypical view of beauty is?

According to a press release, Doves campaign for real beauty is supposed "to make women feel more beautiful every day by challenging today's stereotypical view of beauty and inspiring women to take great care of themselves". What is the stereotypical view of beauty they are referring to?|||White, skinny, tall blonde. Straight nose, high cheeck bones, big pouty lips, perfect smile, big eyes with long curly eyelashes.|||Just flip through a fashion magazine and there it is.

Definition from dictionary.com: something excellent of its kind.

Yet, we still consider beauty the stereotypical tall woman, with thin legs and boney arms, with perfectly straight/curled hair, curly lashes, and pouted lips, (also known as, a model). Sure, there are women out there like this, who are beautiful. But that's not just it..or is it?

I know young girls who are literally like 80-90 pounds who are afraid of being fat, or think they are fat. It sickens me to death, and I wish there was something I could do to erase this off everyones mind, including mine. I hate my looks, and many women do, but what can you do when you think of those models who weigh 90 pounds, are filthy rich, and have hot boyfriends? Nothing but wish.|||a person with confidence!!!! And the definition of beauty is forever changing in the media but w/e u have to have r own meaning otherwise u'll probably never get a fixed one|||Tall, skinny, perfect hair, great skin, and a straight/white smile.

Help me!

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>|||well right now for guys it is super tan, not natural blonde, long hair, lots of makeup, and preppyish

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>|||perfect evrything. skin, hair, makeup, model like|||um for women I guess it would be hourglass figure with good skin and feminine features, healthy looking in general

How should I go about selling my products to beauty salons?

I own a small company that makes spa and beauty products. I want to get my products in the salons around where I live but dont know how.

Here are some of my problems

Should I show up in person?

If I should show up in person, how can I be sure I am not interupting?

Do salons buy in wholesale or do they operate on consignment?|||Good question! I've been trying to do the same thing myself. I have found a few good sites that are free to list your products that can help reach your local market.

http://www.manta.com

this looks to be a good site.

Anybody else have a comment or idea?

How is beauty in the eye of the beholder?

I understand everyone has a preference. How come certain types of girls and boys are desired? I've known girls who literally everywhere they go even in sweats at least 3 or more guys will hit on. It makes me wonder how beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I agree not everyone will find that girl attractive but it seems like they are certain girls generally most guys will find attractive. What is it about them that makes more desired by the opposite sex?|||what alyssa said, what beauty is varies from person to person, beauty cannot be measured

culture decides who's beautiful, that's why many guys you know find that girl attractive, but remember it's not all guys who find her attractive, only a small sample

I personally prefer the quote "beauty is only skin deep"

appearances don't mean anything, it's what's on the inside that truly makes a beautiful person|||Everyone has a different view and idea of what beauty is

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder|||They're probably easy. That's the only desirable thing about them.|||It's not... if you're ugly.... you're just plain ugly
