What do you think the stereotypical view of beauty is?

According to a press release, Doves campaign for real beauty is supposed "to make women feel more beautiful every day by challenging today's stereotypical view of beauty and inspiring women to take great care of themselves". What is the stereotypical view of beauty they are referring to?|||White, skinny, tall blonde. Straight nose, high cheeck bones, big pouty lips, perfect smile, big eyes with long curly eyelashes.|||Just flip through a fashion magazine and there it is.

Definition from dictionary.com: something excellent of its kind.

Yet, we still consider beauty the stereotypical tall woman, with thin legs and boney arms, with perfectly straight/curled hair, curly lashes, and pouted lips, (also known as, a model). Sure, there are women out there like this, who are beautiful. But that's not just it..or is it?

I know young girls who are literally like 80-90 pounds who are afraid of being fat, or think they are fat. It sickens me to death, and I wish there was something I could do to erase this off everyones mind, including mine. I hate my looks, and many women do, but what can you do when you think of those models who weigh 90 pounds, are filthy rich, and have hot boyfriends? Nothing but wish.|||a person with confidence!!!! And the definition of beauty is forever changing in the media but w/e u have to have r own meaning otherwise u'll probably never get a fixed one|||Tall, skinny, perfect hair, great skin, and a straight/white smile.
