How do you remove a beauty mark at home?

Hey. I just wanted to ask how to do this. I have a few "beauty marks" across my shoulders, each about the size of a pencil eraser. I heard somewhere that if you could somehow make one into a scab, it would eventually fall off. Can this be done with any proper technique to minimize the chance of scaring? Thanks.|||Who cares? Don't risk it.|||You just described a cancerous wart. You may want to see a doctor.

|||i dont think u can do it at home-- i tried to remove one and it just re appeared-- so go the doctors and they will tell u to go to a dermatologist and they can remove it for u!|||Go to a doctor. They can help really. and even will loook at you for free if it is a first visit.|||I removed two at home on my abdomen when I was young and stupid. It really didn't work.

I sliced each across the middle with a scalpel and then trimmed the pigmented surface off with sterilized cuticle scissors. I left the wounds open (no stitching) and kept them covered with band-aids. They healed up without much scarring within two months. Unfortunately, they've partially grown back.

I've since had a different one removed professionally. It was a much better experience. The good thing is a dermatologist can biopsy the mole they remove. Since yours are on your shoulders, a common skin cancer area, wouldn't you like to know if you really have a melanoma there and not just a beauty mark? Also, shoulders scar much easier than the abdomen. I'd use a professional or you may never be able to go strapless again.|||You should never attempt to remove a mole by yourself or you will end up scarring causing a permanent scar. It is not expensive to have them removed professionally by a dermatologist, please don't risk doing it yourself. HTH : )|||You don't.

It's an awful idea. Removing moles without proper equipment and know-how put's you at risk for one serious infection. Mole's are really tricky, If they become infected, Your white blood cells in the infected area may begin to attack eachother causing white halo like things to devolop where the mole used to be.

And if you're white blood cell's are attacking eachother, They're waaay to busy to help keep you safe from that nasty infection.|||instructions for removing a beauty mark,
