How do I become a receptionist at a beauty salon?

I'm 46 years old, attractive but overweight, and my career aspiration is to become a receptionist in a beauty salon-taking appointments, restocking the dry towels and products, etc. I'm not kidding. I like hair salons, but I have no interest in working on people's hair. I'd rather be the receptionist.
